Nissan's Advanced Airbag System includes dual-stage supplemental front airbags; so depending on the impact and your seat belt usage, the airbags adjust their inflation rate.  Side-impact supplemental airbags are built into the front seats, so even when you adjust your seat they move with you.  Standard roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental airbags provide protection for all outboard passengers.

Braking with assurance, steering with confidence

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) senses if your Murano starts to oversteer or understeer, and will reduce your engine power, as well as apply braking power to specific wheels.  The Traction Control System (TCS) responds to a spinning wheel by reducing the throttle or applying brake pressure to help improve traction.

An engine that keeps you ahead of the pack

The 3.5L V-6 engine in the 2011 Nissan Murano gives you 260 horsepower to play with and the practical fuel efficiency of 11.7L/100km in the city and 8.5L/100km when on the highway to feel good about.  This engine can be started with the push of a button, with its standard Push Button Ignition.
